What is Kunst en Vliegfabriek?

Kunst & Vliegfabriek is a neighborhood club run by residents and local entrepreneurs. By collaborating on and enjoying creative workshops and performances featuring music, spoken word, poetry, DJs, and storytelling, we are building a more fun and stronger neighborhood community.

More and more properties and projects in our neighborhood are falling into the hands of large companies, institutions, and investors who are far removed from the local residents. We want to break this cycle. Things need to change radically. By connecting creativity and energy from the neighborhood with artistic and creative work, new space is created for meeting and inspiration.

You are welcome in our living room at Katendrechtse Lagedijk 363A. Here you can come for coffee, various workshops (painting, macramé, etc.), storytelling, films, and small-scale performances. Additionally, we work with inspiring creatives at other locations in the neighborhood, such as Theater Zuidplein, Productiehuis Flow (Pleinweg 226D), and Koffie & Ambacht (Ebenheazerstraat 52A).
