The creative meeting hub of Carnisse
Kunst en Vliegfabriek is a community hub in Carnisse, in Rotterdam Zuid, where residents create art together, share stories, and meet one another. Through creative workshops, music, spoken word, and small performances, we provide space for community interaction, creativity, and talent from the neighborhood.
From our living room at Katendrechtse Lagedijk 363a, we collaborate with residents, makers, and organizations from Rotterdam Zuid. This creates a place where new ideas, initiatives, and encounters flourish.

Help build a meaningful role for an organization that really does something in and with the neighborhood. We are looking for board members with a heart for the neighborhood and an eye for structure. Are you a connector who enjoys working with people and wants to support local residents in developing an inspiring program?
"Our" Angelique and Anita, along with others, will be named neighborhood heroes of Carnisse, Rotterdam, on Friday, June 12. Together with our neighborhood heroes, we will watch the videos for each hero and reflect on all the wonderful things happening in the neighborhood. An evening full of stories, encounters, and connection.
